Breaking Through the Wall: Mel’s Transformation in the No More Mind Games Program

When Mel Chatten first found me through a Google search, she wasn’t just looking for a breathwork session—she was looking for something deeper. Like many of my clients, Mel was at a crossroads in life, feeling stuck in the healing process despite months of talk therapy. She had been facing immense personal challenges, from supporting loved ones through cancer to navigating a breakup and the emotional weight of coming out later in life. Therapy had helped her reach an understanding of her repressed memories, but she struggled to fully release them.

Mel’s story is a powerful example of what happens when we combine deep inner work with embodiment.

Hitting a Wall in Traditional Therapy

Many of us reach a point in talk therapy where we feel like we’re going in circles. We understand our patterns, our past traumas, and the ways they show up in our lives—but knowing isn’t the same as healing. Mel had been in therapy for nearly a year, and while she valued it deeply, she sensed that something was missing. She had the awareness, but she needed a way to move beyond intellectual understanding and into true release.

She asked the Universe for a new teacher. That’s when she found me.

A Somatic Approach to Healing

Mel joined my No More Mind Games 12-week mentorship program, where we blend breathwork, somatic practices, and guided inner exploration. Each week, she was given specific prompts designed to uncover deeper layers of self-awareness, but what made the real difference was engaging her body in the process.

By integrating movement and breath with emotional exploration, Mel was able to revisit and work through memories she had already examined in therapy—but this time, she didn’t just think about them. She felt them. She moved through them. And, finally, she released them.

Safety, Support, and Transformation

Healing isn’t just about techniques; it’s about feeling safe enough to go where we need to go. Mel described our work together as a “soothing environment” where she always felt “safe and held.” This sense of trust and security allowed her to fully surrender to the process, knowing she was supported every step of the way.

Over the 12 weeks, Mel not only broke through the wall she had been facing—she built the courage to keep moving forward. Her journey was an investment in herself, one that she says she will forever be grateful for and proud of.

The Power of the Right Support at the Right Time

Mel’s story is a reminder that healing is not a straight path. Sometimes, we need a new approach, a different modality, or the right person to guide us through. She calls finding me at that moment in her life “divine timing,” and I deeply believe that the people who are meant to work together find each other when the time is right.

To Mel: Your transformation is a testament to the power of this work, but most importantly, to your own strength and willingness to show up for yourself. I’m honoured to have been part of your journey.

If Mel’s story resonates with you—if you’ve hit a wall in your healing, if you’re looking for a way to move beyond understanding into true transformation—I invite you to explore the No More Mind Games mentorship program. Your healing doesn’t have to stay stuck in your mind. It’s time to bring it into your body, to feel your way through, and to finally release what’s been holding you back.
